Introduction
ED443, Fall 2009 - Dr. Cyrus. This class, this year, this teacher gave me the tool to become a resourceful, an innovative, and an exploratory teacher. The course’s focus on the National Education Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS*T) appeared too difficult for me at first. Fortunately, the delivery of instruction and the valuable opportunity provided to use a variety of educational media materials and related equipment to research, examine, then demonstrate, empowered me to be a reflective presenter and thereby an effective teacher. As a Chamorro Language and Culture teacher, I feel this new found experience in technology has broadened my horizon to use new methods and strategies to better facilitate each and every student, and enhance the learning skills of students with disabilities with the help of assistive adaptive technology.
